they are larva of the silk moth

what does this say about how we

articulate and define ourselves?

i am born from love and a hearty dash of spite

enjoy swimming in the space between

the body and the self;

constructed by mud and river rock

striving to be in the world, but not of it

i, like the silkworm, am vulnerable to touch

too often measured by the value of my

productivity under capitalism and

am meant to evolve if given

the chance to get there.
